SUSTAINABILITY
Mecara implements SDG initiatives in various ways.
Toward a society where everyone is healthy and can choose how to work and live by having the personal wellness index.
Analyze the characteristics of each individual / Propose and provide solutions according to the scene of need
With a help of a pupillometer (which evaluates pupil size) and neural age measuring device developed independently by Mecara it’s possible to analyze the characteristics of an individual and provide solutions necessary for the person to maintain good condition.
Reforms in the way we work, which allow people to choose careers that match their personal characteristics.
Mecara provides solutions to choose a career that fits the characteristics of each individual.
By understanding one’s own traits objectively, one is able to choose a career that suits his/her the best.
Mecara also supports the creation of new careers. For example, we help former athletes to transition into a new role where they can utilize their previous experience. We also provide them with training to make people healthy and measure the effectiveness of therapy with a pupilometer.
Mecara also implemented work style reform which promotes productive employment and gender equality.
Establishment and development of nationwide “Wellness Hubs”.
These are places where people can experience new ways to visualize each individual’s condition using objective indicators.
Wellness Hubs will be designed with elements that are fundamental and essential to human needs. For example, having a natural office light, access to views of the outdoors and indoor plants will create a relaxed and productive atmosphere. This in turn will reduce worker’s stress, sickness and absence rates, boost productivity and creativity. Wellness Hubs will also provide a place where people can work, share skills and knowledge as well as make connections.
SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIP
Relationship between Fukushima and Mecara
Mecara’ project in Fukushima is to “work on reconstruction” together with Tamura City.
Mecara will strongly cooperate with Tamura City, and together we will work on the reconstruction of Fukushima.
Starting from Tamura City, we will take on the challenge of creating the nation’s first “community development to tackle the challenges of unwellness”.
We will transmit our message from Tamura City to Fukushima Prefecture, from Fukushima Prefecture to Japan, and from Japan to the world.
